* The design of structures and instruments with accuracy superior to that achieved at the National Institutes of Science Technology (NIST)

* Instruments intended for use in clean room, vacuum, and shop environments, and devices that function outdoors in the worst weather.

* Complete metrology product design, concept to shipment of first article in 14 wks.

* Opto-mechanical design of 200mm aperture, sub-microradian resolution, pointing sensor for laser system.

* Developed and implemented method to align components of machine tool to <0.0003".

A high accuracy optical alignment system for the University of Rochester Laser Lab 30 feet high. 30 Ton. LBP designed most of the parts shown in these pictures.
